MEC Lebogang Maile to Host Township Commercial Property Owners Imbizo in Heidelberg
The Gauteng Provincial Government, led by MEC for Finance and Economic Development, Lebogang Maile, will host an Imbizo with township commercial property owners in Heidelberg. Commercial property owners include residential property owners who use or rent out a portion or section of their properties for commercial purposes. This engagement is part of the government’s ongoing efforts to address critical issues affecting township commercial property owners and to promote sustainable development in Gauteng’s townships.
The Imbizo aims to engage township commercial property owners on zoning, compliance, and other regulatory matters, present government programmes designed to support township development, and address concerns and challenges facing commercial property owners. It will also provide a platform for dialogue between property owners and key government stakeholders. MEC Maile will engage the stakeholders, emphasising the provincial government’s commitment to empowering township property owners and fostering inclusive economic growth.
Township property owners in Heidelberg and surrounding areas are encouraged to attend and participate in discussions that will help shape the future of property development and economic inclusion in their communities.
